I love a good red lip. I think it can make a blah makeup look sophisticated and sexy. But what happens when your favorite red bleeds, fades, changes colors midday or simply disappears? I have a ridiculous number of red lipsticks that I’ve purchased mainly looking for the perfect red. While I have some favorites, they are traditional formulas that require constant touch-ups.
The red color in this kit is an absolute show stopper. It is a gorgeous, true red shade. It is bold, sultry and divine. Any woman that wears red lipstick knows exactly what I’m talking about. I am emphasizing on the red shade because of the three I have, it is the one I’ve mostly worn due to the beauty of this color. Did I mention it was gorgeous??

The first shade (from left to right) is Seductive, a pinkish nude with a pearly finish. Next, Passion, a true red with a matte finish and finally Playful, a matte pink shade. The lip liner is in the shade Desire, a burgundy red. The stains are very comfortable to wear. They are not dry, in fact they almost feel as creamy as a regular lipstick. Some long wearing lip stains crack, peel or dry out the lips, but these are flexible and feel awesome.
During my test, I did exactly what the instructions said. I scrubbed my lips with the Beso Scrub and then hydrated with the Beso Balm. My lips looked plumped and invigorated after the “lip facial”. I applied the Passion lip stain and let it dry while I finished the rest of my makeup. I wore Passion for approximately 9 hours and after lunch, snacks, drinking and dinner, it never moved. The color remained as bold and vibrant as the minute I put it on. I even blotted constantly with a napkin to see if it would budge, but it did not.
At the end of the night, and with hesitation because my lips were so perfectly intact, I removed the stain using the remover and it slipped right off. My lips were not dry or chapped. I finished off with a coat of Beso Balm along with my usual nighttime skin care routine.
